There's nothing exciting happening here and I've been feeling bleh, so that explains the lack of posts. I realized over the weekend that we've known about the pregnancy for four weeks already--crazy! Peter and I napped nearly four hours today (waking to switch sides nursing three times, I think). He woke up bright and early at 9 a.m. and was out of sorts all morning. We went to a playgroup at a different house and every time something startled him, he'd sob and run back to my lap. He can be touchy when he's somewhere new, but this kept up for 2+ hours--weird. I saw that tooth #11 appeared yesterday (bottom right molar) so maybe #12 is bugging him now.
Here's a photo from northern Minnesota that shows Peter on the move--he doesn't just sit and smile sweetly for photos. He steals balls from other toddlers and runs squealing the other way as fast as his little legs will go.
The yarn and knitting business has been going very well. I closed to custom orders after getting a month's worth of work and started a waiting list--in the past 3 days, I've already had 4 people sign up for pants to be knit in late August or early September. I placed a yarn order worth $700 today after selling out of most of my colors within a couple weeks. I feel like having both knit and yarn orders will help even things out, especially as Christmas approaches.
Next week should be more interesting--our bathroom renovation is scheduled to begin on Monday. Yay, life without a toilet or bathtub! We're thinking about escaping to the cabin, if logistics work out.
