Peter woke up at 6:45 yesterday and 6:15 today, which is earlier than I'm ready for any decent parenting, so I've plunked him in front of PBS for the time being. He's anti-Sesame Street this week after I left him watching it to shower the other day. He pushed a bunch of buttons on the remote while I was gone and I came back to discover him watching the blue DVD screen and found Caillou taped in two chunks on Tivo. He's figured out the pause, slow, and rewind buttons but must have gotten in a bigger mess that day.
I finished my consulting project last week. It took fewer hours than we expected, which is disappointing given that I was paid by the hour, but probably good given that I couldn't find any more hours to work anyway. I offered to work again this summer if a project comes up -- with Dan home and Leo not so dependent on me for food, it would be convenient timing and then Dan wouldn't need to get a summer job.
I've been frantically trying to finish three knitting custom orders placed in early January. I need to get ready for taxes soon, but that'll take a week of inventory and recreating my order spreadsheet so I'll finish the orders first.
I suppose I shouldn't let Peter watch a third show. I'll try to be more interesting when I'm awake.
