1. Tim will be 11 months old within the next hour and today he figured out how to do this:

He's been cruising a lot for a couple weeks but this is the first time he wasn't leaning on something stable. If he walks at the same age as his brothers, he'll have played an amazing game of catch-up.
2. Why is it impossible for me to find (cheap-ish) long rompers for Tim in June? Even if it wasn't because it's been 55 degrees this week and we're in sweatshirts, don't the fall clothes usually come out by now anyway? I tried the used kids' clothes store and they didn't even have many one-piece shorts rompers. They do have a rack of tiny jeans. Who puts tiny jeans on babies, or even toddlers? Heck, even my 7 year old still prefers elastic waistbands. I want one-piece outfits. I'm lazy like that. Gymboree was having a sale but they didn't have any (even full price) and Old Navy doesn't have any either. If I want to pay a fortune at Gap, that appears to be an option. Maybe Carters has them. It's just weird.
3. I labeled 200 articles of clothes and brought them to a fellow MOMS Clubber's house for her garage sale. Once Upon a Child rejected ALL OF THEM but I figure that I'll bring them to various garage sales this summer and see how many get purchased for an average of 50 cents each.
4. We're finally in summer mode, at least with work and activities. Leo is in level 1 swimming for two weeks, Peter had engineering camp M-Th mornings, and Dan taught at the same place for the same hours (but taught another group of kids). He'll teach 7 weeks this summer, about half-time. Swim lessons have been fun (despite the sub-60 degree temps and rain) because I know almost everyone in Leo's class. I feel like we are really becoming part of the community here if I know half a dozen families at the pool. I met a mom with sons a year older than Peter and Tim who said that her second grader is really into math and science. Turns out she lives 2 blocks away and doesn't have any kids on her block. If I fail to get her number and meet up with her post-swimming, it will be pathetic.
5. Peter and I are going strawberry-picking with my SIL and niece in the morning. They better be ready for uber-focused-picker Amy because I might not get to go picking again this season and I need at least 20 lbs of strawberries to get through the winter. Ideally twice that. I should check my picked-fruit list from last year because it worked out perfectly, using our last berries at the end of May.
6. Peter and Leo are figuring out how to play Settlers of Catan (partially due to Dan getting an iPad for work and playing on there) and that makes me really happy. Except when they let pieces fall on the floor -- horrible Tim choking hazard and bad to lose them. We might get to play fun games at the cabin, even though our extended families are ditching us this year for various good reasons.
7. My tomatoes are probably 3 feet tall and putting out blossoms. So far, the Florida weaving approach is working well with the extra space I left between rows. Our lettuce is barely pickable though, which seems crazy-late.
