January: We tore out the ceiling and the terrible carpet of our basement on New Year's Eve and let the professionals do most of the rest. It was ready to paint by the end of the month. This is my new office, newly framed.
February: We did the painting ourselves (and by we, I mostly mean Dan), which took the better part of 2 months. 700 sq feet plus ceiling is A LOT.
March: Disney World with my parents!
April: The carpet gets installed and the boys start rolling.
May (well, I cheated, this was April 29th): Peter's first communion
June: Planting the garden
July: Hot days in the yard
August: Annual trip to the cabin and Lake Itasca
September: A visit from old friends
October: Digging for fossils at the Lilydale Brickyards with fellow homeschoolers
November: Tim's love affair with puzzles begins
December: Holidazzle Parade: Peter and Leo as Pinocchios, with my sister and I ahead pushing the first banner
